Different types of insurances are available for Indigenous people.

For example if you are after Health Insurance there are plenty of websites and comparison sites who will allow you to quickly work out if you qualify and the cost of your policy. Having health insurance is often a good idea because if anything happens to you, you will be taken to the nearest hospital and cared for.

Funeral Insurance is another type of life insurance policy which has a payout of up to $15,000 and generally pays out within 48 hours of the person insured dying. The great thing about this type of insurance is that if you are aged under 80 you can get a policy without going through and medical exams or blood tests like you would need to do for a larger amount of life insurance.

Income Protection Insurance is a relatively new type of insurance which will cover your income in the event of an injury which prevents you from working. Income Protection Insurance will require you to go through some underwriting questions as well so you are not guaranteed to get this type of cover.
